DMCare Express ALS units are equipped with state-of-the-art technologies and are staffed by advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certified paramedics. ALS paramedics can perform manual defibrillation, synchronized cardioversion, transcutaneous pacing, cardiac monitoring and interpretation of EKGs, including 12-lead ECG. Pparamedics can execute a host of advanced procedures in the field that include advanced airway management, peripheral intravenous (IV) cannulation, intraosseous needle placements, ventilator and IV pump management.
